• What happens when I “connect” with IAR as a student?

  When you connect, you sign up for updates about internships and thesis opportunities. We’ll notify you when new openings are published.

  Please note that connecting isn’t the same as applying. You won’t get a personal reply, but you’ll be the first to know when a position opens up.

• What should I do if I’m interested in doing my thesis at IAR?

  If the thesis work described sounds appealing and you have an idea or a specific interest, connect with us to receive updates for when we open up a new Master's Thesis opportunity. 

• What does a Master’s Thesis project at IAR typically involve?

  • Conducting a literature study to understand the problem

  • Evaluating possible solutions through theoretical analysis

  • Implementing the most promising solution(s)

  • Measuring or estimating performance and usefulness

  • Comparing your results with existing work in the field

  • Drawing conclusions

  • Writing a report and presenting your findings orally

• Can I suggest my own thesis topic?

  Absolutely. We are open to discussing different ideas and encourage students to reach out if they have a specific interest or proposal.

• Who can apply for an internship?

  We welcome motivated university students currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering that have strong programming skills (e.g., C++, Ruby, Python, Git).

• What types of tasks could I be working on?

  Benchmarking and code coverage analysis

  Testing and debugging existing code

  Researching and evaluating new technologies

  Final tasks will be tailored to match your interests and skills.
